8. Retargeting

We use Google AdWords and Facebook to draw your attention to our website and our services again if you have previously visited our website and were interested in our services.

Google AdWords

This website uses the online advertising program "Google AdWords" by Google, in particular the conversion tracking. A conversion can be, for example, a purchase, a registration, a page access or an inquiry. Google has developed a tool to measure these conversions and ultimately the effectiveness of AdWords ads. The conversion tracking cookie is set on your terminal device when you click on an ad placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can easily deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. Furthermore, you can prevent the use of these cookies in your advertising settings at Google.

Facebook Pixel

Your consent to the setting of cookies also includes the use of a "visitor action pixel" from Facebook Ireland Ltd. 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour Dublin 2 Ireland ("Facebook"). With its help, we can track the actions of users after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. This allows us to track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, which means that we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook may link this data to their Facebook account and also use it for their own advertising purposes, according to Facebook's privacy policy https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation/. This data makes it easier for Facebook and its partners to serve ads on and off Facebook. Furthermore, a cookie may be stored on your terminal device for these purposes.

14.2. Revocation

Furthermore, you have the right to revoke given consent with effect for the future. However, the lawfulness of the data processing based on your consent remains unaffected by this until you exercise your right of revocation.

14.3. Other rights

You have the right at any time to receive free information about your personal data stored by us, to correct incorrect data and to have data blocked or deleted. Furthermore, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, common and machine-readable format and to have your data transferred by us to someone else.
